Projet Description

Over time, Jinglong Garden, an old mansion that has weathered more than 20 years of wind and rain, is filled with memories and stories of time. Moxi Design deconstructs and reshapes the old house in the name of design. Listen to the old house's narration, integrate nature and simplicity throughout, and achieve a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics through a progressive layout and zoning.
The structural beam position is the backbone of the building, using curved elements as the fulcrum for prying, combined with lighting design, to give the space a highly layered sense of rhythm. The use of warm walnut wood and smoked oak creates a low-key and luxurious atmosphere in the space.
A carefully planned spatial layout that encompasses the functions of both Chinese and Western kitchens, meeting the convenience needs of modern life. The staircase is placed in the center of the space, breaking the limitations of the original dark areas, making it transparent and aesthetically pleasing.
Through the natural transition of different wooden elements, simplifying and simplifying, returning to the essential form of space, the nature and texture of wood inject more emotions and warmth into life. The courtyard of the old house, designed and renovated, is surrounded by green plants and full of vitality.
Old houses are not just witnesses of time, but can also be a beautiful carrier of modern life.
